Peter Fenech Director

Peter Fenech is a partner at the Valletta based law firm Ganado Sammut after having joined the firm as an associate in 1993. He now leads the litigation department. Since Malta’s re-activation of is European Membership application he has been active in the firm’s European consultancy department. He is actively involved in various consultancy and research projects dealing with European affairs as well as in organising and delivering training seminars related to the subject. He read law at the University of Malta, obtaining a doctorate degree in 1993 and later went on to study European Studies at The University of Sussex in the United Kingdom where he obtained a Master’s degree in 1994. Other Posts: Visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, European Documentation and Research Centre Examined and supervised thesis both within the Faculty of Law and the European Research and Documentation Centre. Chairman of Melita Insurance Brokers Limited 2006 Chairman of the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Malta’s exclusive Government owned conference centre, since December 2000. Director on the Board of the Foundation for Tomorrow Schools 05/2002-06/2005. Member of the Historic Conference Centres of Europe’s international Board 2005-2007.
